Fundraising

The same story I’m afraid but as a charity, we are always looking at ways of raising funds and we would greatly appreciate any ideas for fund-raising events or offers of help from anyone who would be willing to participate in events; it all helps to contribute to the continued success of Ladybird. As you all know we have a red bucket in the entrance hall which is for donations towards snack time, every little helps!

Policies and Procedures
Our policies and procedures are available for you to read in paper format in the Preschool office. We would like to remind you all that if your child has a raised temperature they will be sent home (as per policy document) as the child will want comfort from their parent and we have to consider the danger of cross infection if they develop anything contagious. There is also the risk of the temperature rising rapidly which could in some cases lead to febrile convulsions. I know this is something that can be difficult to manage with work schedules etc. but we feel it is in the child’s best interests to do so.
